Jeremy Cochran is an Assistant Professor of Music and the Director of Bands at Central Wyoming College. In addition to conducting CWC’s performing ensembles, Cochran teaches a variety of music lecture courses as well as applied lessons in brass and voice.
Cochran is active locally as a trumpet performer in the Central Wyoming Brass Quintet and Fremont Symphony Orchestra, as the president of Arts in Action, a local non-profit dedicated to promoting arts and arts education in the Riverton area, and as an adjudicator, clinician, and guest conductor in Wyoming.
Cochran holds degrees from North Dakota State University (B.S. Music Education), the University of Minnesota Duluth (M.M. Conducting), and George Mason University (D.M.A. Conducting). He has previously taught for the Campbell-Tintah Public School District (Minnesota) and the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
